Miniature Floral Jug

This is a pretty little hand painted floral jug I picked up in a charity shop on my way up to Norfolk.
It's 2.5" high and was made at the 'Tuscan Decoro Pottery', Stoke-on-Trent, England sometime between 1933 - 1944 (Design mark D 24/816).
I love hand painted pottery from this period, it seems to have a charm all of its own.

  1. Hello sweet Jacqui! The hand painted jug is gorgeous! I enjoyed reading the history of it. It looks perfect amongst the pretty purple blooms! I hope you have a wonderful, sunny weekend dear friend! Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I look forward to seeing your bunny! Snowball sounds like a sweetie! We once had a pet bunny too. Thank you for asking about my cardiac rehab. Thankfully I have been doing well with it. I began in January and graduated from 36 sessions. They monitored my heart for those. Next week will graduate from the additional 18 sessions that I was offered to take with some added strength training, which I have not be able to do much of due to it hurting my chest. I go three times a week for a little over a hour. We live over 30 minutes out of town, so it is a bit tiring to go so often, but it has been a tremendous blessing, as I have not been able to do any exercising for years. It is wonderful to be able to walk and breathe and not be in severe pain. I will be glad when I am finished though, as I am quite the homebody and love walking around my house and through my garden with the doggies! I walk for 30 minutes and I do yoga as well. I am very grateful to be able to do this! Did your dear Dad have cardiac rehab? How is he doing? I pray he continues to feel well! I know you must be very excited about his visit! I hope I did not write too much sweet friend! Thank you for being such a dear! Love, Paula xoxo
