Swedish Blue

I'm hoping this...
will transform these...
...into something nice for my bedroom.
My pine bedside cabinet which I made up from a flatpack about 18 years ago and varnished and my children's old pine toybox which I'll use for storing odds and ends.
Sanded and cleaned ready for undercoating and painting.
I may wallpaper the draw fronts and fix new drawer knobs....not quite sure yet.
I'll let you know how they turn out.

    1. I couldn't get a tester pot so I'm hoping the colour doesn't disappoint! Blue is my favourite colour but I've only ever painted furniture using white. If it turns out well I might also paint my pine fire surround too later in the summer.

  9. Jacqui, can't wait to see how the pieces turn out. I love blue and am always looking for a shade that appeals to me. I think I will paint the family room blue next time. We did have it a darker shade of blue before we used the burgandy. This next time I want it lighter. Thank you, Jacqui, for your sweet and loving comments to me about Buddy. He will certainly be missed..Judy
