I was given this beautiful Orchid back in early January for my Birthday and it is still in flower nearly 3 months later. I love the way the sunlight picks out the delicate detail in the flowers. So pretty.
Good Morning Jacqui, It is beautiful. I am just not good with house plants. The poor thing would be brown if it where in my hands. I had no idea that they bloomed so long . . . happy Spring. Your blogging sister, Connie :)
Hi Connie. Like you I never seem to have much luck with houseplants. My sister-in-law (who gave me this one) has quite a few and manages to get hers to flower again and again (sometimes twice a year) so I'm hoping I can do the same.
What a beautiful Orchid! I think these must be the best value flowering plants you can buy, mine last for months in flower and they seem to thrive on neglect......which is a ideal in my house!! Hope you are having a wonderful sunny weekend xxx
This particular orchid managed to stay in flower continually for nearly 2 years which was amazing. I can't imagine that it will flower again as I'm sure it must have totally exhausted itself. Who knows though......
