Hi Jacqui, I happened upon your blog months ago and I was so sad to see that you had not been able to keep up with the blog, but I am SO delighted to see that you are back. Hurrah! Although I live in Roswell, Georgia (USA), we share some similarities. I will be 49 in a few days, my husband and I have two daughters (one 18.5 years old and the other almost 16, I love needlepoint, Klimt, mosaics, Candace Bahouth, Kaffe Fassett, nature, tea cups, gardening, and all things European. I don't have a blog of my own yet, but I really enjoy yours. I've had some health problems, which forced me to retire early, but I am feeling much better now and enjoying home, family, master garden volunteer work, and my mosaic and needlepoint hobbies. I used to bake much more, but was diagnosed with Celiac Disease (gluten issues) several years ago, so I don't do as much baking as I used to do. I am looking forward to following your blog. :-)
Hi Dee, it's lovely to meet you! Thank you for your thoughtful message and I'm glad we share so many interests. I really want to get going on so many projects but at the moment I'm trying to clean the house (boring) and put up the Christmas decorations. Eldest daughter home from uni on Tuesday. I'm glad you are feeling better after your recent health problems and I hope you have a very happy Birthday! Jacqui x
