Bunting

My finished bunting.
It's temporarily hanging from my curtain poles in my backroom overlooking the garden at the moment.
I was hoping to get a picture of it outside but we've had rain for most of the bank holiday weekend.
I finished decorating this room at the end of last year but the curtains I liked were so expensive (even in the sale) I've decided to try and make my own! Until then I'm quite happy for the bunting to bring a splash of colour to the room.

  4. Thank you sweet Jacqui, I can see them just fine now. Yay! Your bunting is beautiful! I love the fabrics and the trims you used. I am going to have to make one. Your home and garden are gorgeous! I think it is a wonderful idea to make your own curtains. The pre-made ones are so costly, when you make your own you can pink out any fabric you like! I think the bunting is perfect here! Much love, Paula xoxo

  5. Hi, love the bunting in your window - I would be inclined to leave it there for the summer and then make winter curtains !!

  6. Hello again dearest! I just found your lovely comment and wanted to pop back over and say thank you so very much for your sweet words!!! I am so glad you like my parlor! I made the collage on the wooden hanger, a few years ago, that has the lace glove on it. I used all vintage materials, except for the backing fabric, I used bleached muslin for that. I will get a close up so you can see it better if you like. Oh yes, I don't eat sugar either, or grains, so my cookies would be made with blanched almond flour and honey! :) Do you think you will be able to have honey? I am so proud of you for going sugar free! I haven't eaten any sugar in over 4 years. I do so wish you could come over for tea and cookies! We would stitch too and have such fun! Thank you again for your kind words! I hope you have a beautiful day my friend! Love, Paula xo
