The sunshine this week has opened the beautiful daffodils and blossom near our local ancient woods. They look so lovely & cheerful against the clear blue sky.
The blossom was buzzing with bumble bees.
The daffodils pictured are cultivated but up in the ancient woods we have what is reputed to be one of the best shows of truly wild daffodils in the south of England. I'll attempt to photograph them next week if they are open.
